Re: Development - Wheel Generator 1.8
Well, I have some good news to announce here. The prerelease build of WG1.8 has managed a speedup improvement of a minimum 30% compared to the speedup of WG1.7. That of course means even better coverings produced quicker compared to WG1.7. However this is still a prerelease of WG1.8, which still hav...

Re: FILTERS suggestions
Hi azevrec, all the above number sets you mention belong to the category of number groups. I had a similar request here http://forums.anastasios-tampakis.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=44&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=20 too. In order to use these filters, all you have to do is to setup a number group accordingly h...

Re: Questions
Hi power802, WG currently is single threaded which means it utilizes one CPU only. If you have a multi-core CPU, then only one of them will be used by a sinlge instance of the program. However, the other CPUs can be utilized by running multiple WG instances. As for Intel vs AMD, at the moment I have...

Re: Inverse
I've just seen this post, so here is what's going on. When we set the parameters for a covering A defined as c(v,k,t,m) = b immediately we can extract another covering B named the inverse with parameters where B is c(v, v-k , (v-m) - (k-t), v-m) = b (as displayed at the inverse label) and this one h...

Development - Wheel Generator 1.8
Wheel Generator 1.8 development has started. As usual, feel free to make your suggestions on how to improve further this amazing program. Previous WG versions have a 'weakness' when building very big coverings such as 49,6,3if6, which by default disables the speedup mechanism in order to be able and...

Re: Development - Wheel Generator 1.7
Hi luisgmira, those two filters don't require any special treatment to be saved. Simply set them up to your liking and when you save the preset, all for their settings are saved as well. When you load the preset, both filters are setup to what their settings were on saving. However, they have to be ...

Re: Development - Wheel Generator 1.7
Maryland, generally it is a good idea not to have older versions. I recommend uninstalling WG 1.6 first. Keep safe the wg.lic file of course to paste it in the installation folder of 1.7
