Re: The use of filters and the quantified cover
Hi Frank, can you post examples of real achievable coverage using your suggestion with the software you use to do this? Please don't forget to mention the filter and its parameters you have used as a guide. I have added this feature in WG and I want to test its efficiency in coverage achievement. ch...

Development - Wheel Generator 1.6
Well, the development of the new version of WG is underway. New additions to the system will be made and so far added: Auto-removal of blocks to the specified L% (for the main coverage engine). This L% in WG 1.5 currently only affects the Th.Min display indicator. A requested feature to build coveri...

Re: Mathematics (Jackpot) - Number drawn X times in last Y draws
I'm not into opening a war for mathematics. You are free to believe anything you want. As a matter of fact, you don't say something different to what I say. I never wrote anywhere that if you observe individually each test, that a number will have 1.08% to occur. Of course it will have the p probabi...

Re: Teach By Example
Hi Maryland, normally this box should be set to 39 so WG can correctly setup the filters' parameters (range limits of sums and the panel of common numbers). If you set this to 33, the sums max range will not be correct. It is a visual thing; no matter what value you enter there it will work correctl...

Re: Mathematics (Jackpot) - Number drawn X times in last Y draws
Hi Crocodile23, "safely" means that we can use this information and we expect this to be 99% correct. If we are so unlucky and fall in the 1% case, we can blame luck or the neighbor. If however you want to bet on the 1% and include this, it is up to you. Would you bet on a number that you know it ha...

Re: Development - Wheel Generator 1.5
Hi mstrooba, if WG says invalid data, then the imported file does not follow the formats it expects. Details of the accepted formats can be found in the help file. If you still face difficulties, post a sample of the covering. As for coverings found on the internet, they are not designed on filters ...

Re: Development - Wheel Generator 1.5
Also, to elaborate a bit more on the term 'pack design' which is closely related to Th.Min value, first observe the value displayed next to the text "1-block cover : x / y". This x value shows how many individual m-blocks (as explained in a previous post), a single ticket in our covering can cover m...

Re: Development - Wheel Generator 1.5
Well mstrooba, everything is ok. You work with the demo of WG and it displays the outcome with ??. If you have a license, these will disappear and you'll see the complete covering. WG can work in both modes efficiently. However, big coverings require more time to be developed from scratch and since ...

Re: Development - Wheel Generator 1.5
Hey LA, What I meant by 'no result' is that the system did not generate any blocks (b). Another one.... I've entered following parameters c(20,6,5,6), l=1, L% coverage set at 90 and under filters enabled sums between 25-105. Number of blocks set at 2850, according La Jolla. WG ran for about 0200 Hr...

Re: Development - Wheel Generator 1.5
HI mstrooba, please first clarify what do you mean when you say 'still no result'. What would be the result would you expect? The current record for (c13,4,4,5)=183 so with 150 blocks you enter I would expect a coverage of 85-90% approx. Since this covering has a quite low 1-Block value (bottom line...
