hello, is there a minimum or maximum time that we missed the wg running in an attempt to find the best combination?
example 16,10,5,6 = 83.179% L = 5 is running at about 40 hours and can not find a better combination then there is a stipulated time that the process can stop?
thank you

Re: minimum or maximum time that we missed the wg
Time is relative in covering development, largely depending on the complexity of overlapping conditions and the actual size of the covering (1-block, v, k, t-m difference).
The tutorial explains usage and when to consider a covering optimization task completed.

Did you adjust the bias sliders as per the tutorial? Typical waiting time for any type of covering is less than an hour to get an improvement. If you don't see any improvement over such a time span, usually taking some action (adjust bias/search algorithm, do some tricks like add/removal of blocks/jitter) is the recommended course of action. Waiting for 40 hours for an improvement is really way too long.
If you have reached the point of both sliders positioned almost completely to the left as explained at the tutorial, we are almost done with the optimization. Insisting on that covering may still have something to offer but any further improvements, if they occur, are expected to be small. Generally speaking, we'll never ever know if we have reached the best possible outcome, unless if it is somehow obvious (i.e. reached the th.min indicated) but for the engine's outcome, the rule of thumb is where the sliders reside as described above.
