Re: Development - G.A.T. Engine 2.3
There is some common factor with this unimaginable complexity, at least when following the bare minimum of those gats that hit 6.
Except for one number hit, No obvius trends whatsoever, even if the tested draws will grow into million.

Not really. GAT 2.3 will not have synthetic. Synthetic qualifies as a new version on its own so it will be probably in GAT 2.4 (or maybe 3.0 - synthetic is a huge addition that even qualify for major version change).

It will probably be the only hope for those who play in countries where only the jackpot can cover the money waste, like israel.

Re: Development - G.A.T. Engine 2.3
The import/export state is practically ready. Now we can export a scan, close GAT and resume it at a later time. A saved state contains internally all the history draws, the options and of course the GATs computed till that point therefore it is a complete entity on its own. The need to also save the current history is because we may have added/changed the lottery game when we decide to re-import a state therefore inconsistency will occur between the initial data (history) used to make the run and the current data in the history. So, the import loads from the standby mode where no lottery has been opened yet and setups the system to resume the scan. Because of this, any modifications that may be done in the history after importing a saved state will reside only in memory (disconnected from the actual draw history) to protect it. This condition is also reflected at the "active lottery" text which turns to yellow. Apart from this small detail, the system overall looks very neat! I'll do some more testing to verify everything works smoothly and I'll make a new prerelease.

Re: Development - G.A.T. Engine 2.3
Prerelease 3 of GAT 2.3 is available to download at the account management. This version contains all the features discussed in the previous posts and the most noticeable addition is the ability to pause/resume and export/import the current scan to continue it at a later time. Keep in mind, this prerelease now stores all the options in .ini files and it will not import any options saved by the previous prerelease, so keep a note of them to re-import them in the new prerelease.
A few more additions and improvements are due to come (e.g. odds calculator and some more functions mentioned above) and the next release will be the official 2.3 which is expected to come out around the beginning of April 2013, maybe a little sooner if everything runs smoothly. Any comments and further suggestions should be posted here as usual. Enjoy this almost fully developed version and good winnings!

Re: Development - G.A.T. Engine 2.3
Whats the reason for splitting the analysis options into "options I" and "options II"? Why not to make all the options under a single tab?
I guess the browse retained and export retained are in the end of the TODO list...thats why they're not implemented yet, right?

Hi kiwi, the build-up functionality has been explained here viewtopic.php?f=23&t=585
Hi baalhabait, tab I contains basic engine options that primarily affect the results, tab II contains specific functionality that deals with entering text such as GAT ID numbers, compare numbers etc and the speedup options. All these do not fit nicely in one panel and this will become more obvious when more things will be added such as the requirements of synthetic. The other functionality you mention will be added for the final 2.3 release. Still missing a couple of things but the major work is already done in prerelease 3.
