We should use a different naming for coverings which are under guides. When we say the covering is 100%, we should distinguish if it is filtered base or no filter at all.
The covering you posted is 98,03383% (missing 365) 18,6,4,6 if we don't consider the filters.
I haven't yet included an evaluation in WG for the filtered coverage part to certify the 100% status of the filtered covering. I think we should call these coverings guided or filtered-driven 100% 18,6,4,6 to distinguish them from the actual non-filtered 100% 18,6,4,6.
When I'll have this part ready I'll post the results. I currently work on this.

Yes you are right!

"Filtered-driven" seems good to me.

Example: 18,6,4,6=53 C=100%, F-D (filtered-driven).

Hi,

The Frank wheel has the next guarantees:

6 53 0.6320
5 2428 28.9530
4 5905 70.4150

The wheel is 100% 4if6.

This is Frank's wheel without the applied numbers.

If you check it, it misses 365 m-blocks (98.03% 4if6). I haven't evaluated it yet as 4if6 filtered-driven.

Hi Hyperdimensional,

I suppose you are right. Can you say which software you used in such calculations?

Hi Frank,

I used a private tool by Indeciso to calculate the guarantee of your wheel over the 8386 filtered combinations.

Thanks, indeed I was suspicious that I didn't know such a tool.

Now, I'm certain :)

Hi Frank,

With current version of WG 1.5 a similar wheel to your 52 wheel could be created,

03 06 07 19 25 34
03 06 08 15 23 26
03 06 12 19 24 28
03 06 24 28 39 46
03 07 08 12 23 34
03 07 08 12 24 46
03 07 26 35 39 46
03 07 28 30 35 43
03 08 15 25 30 35
03 12 24 26 30 43
03 15 24 25 43 46
03 15 24 30 34 39
03 19 23 24 28 35
03 19 25 30 34 46
03 23 24 26 39 43
03 25 26 28 34 43
06 07 12 15 26 35
06 07 15 19 34 46
06 07 23 35 43 46
06 08 19 26 43 46
06 08 19 35 39 43
06 08 30 34 39 43
06 12 15 24 25 43
06 12 19 28 43 46
06 12 24 34 39 43
06 12 25 30 39 46
06 12 25 34 35 46
06 15 23 28 34 39
06 23 24 28 34 35
06 23 25 30 35 39
07 08 15 23 24 39
07 08 19 28 34 39
07 08 25 34 35 43
07 12 19 24 30 39
07 12 23 25 28 46
07 15 24 26 34 46
07 15 24 28 39 43
07 15 28 30 34 46
07 19 23 26 30 43
08 12 15 19 25 43
08 12 23 28 30 43
08 12 25 26 34 39
08 15 24 30 35 46
08 15 24 34 35 43
08 15 26 28 35 46
08 19 23 25 39 46
12 15 23 26 30 46
12 15 25 28 35 39
12 19 26 30 34 35
15 19 26 28 30 39
19 23 24 25 26 35
19 23 24 25 30 34

The guarantee over the 8386:

6 52 0.6201
5 1999 23.8373
4 6332 75.5068
3 3 0.0358

This wheel is 99.9642 4 if6 in the filtered combinations and it has much better coverage in other categories, it is 99.69 4if6 compared to 98.22% of your 52 number wheel. Then a wheel with less than 52 tickets is possible with WG.

Hi Hyperdimensional,

WG 1.5 can make that, while transforming the "specific cover" (the cover in the filtered lines) = 100% of 4if6; sometimes it disrespects some filter to get a better "overall cover" (the cover in all the C(18,6) possible lines, not filtered). You can check if some of the 52 lines disrespect some filter; I'm certain that some line(s) disrespect some filter(s).

Because of that, LA is trying a new feature for WG 1.6: to get 100% cover respecting every filter.
