A new feature of WG 1.6 is the detailed hits analysis. This displays produced hits of the covering for the various [m] achieved. Compact display of hits (with ranges) can be generated and also unfolding the ranges is a possibility if a more detailed analysis is required. Additionally, we can observe hits for 2,1,0 win divisions (other known programs can display only to 3), which is useful to know if we play with banker numbers. The outcome can be copied to the clipboard for ease of use. Examples of this feature will come soon. :)

Also, yet another improvement to the previously posted covering 16,6,5,6, with the 4 groups. Known programs can make this to 155 blocks minimum...

Also a new addition to WG 1.6 is the distance filter. Using this filter, we can define the differences we want between the numbers in the tickets produced.
For example the ticket 01 04 17 24 44 has the following differences:
Num 1-2 -> 3 [4-1]
Num 2-3 -> 13 [17-4]
Num 3-4 -> 7 [24-17]
...
Num 1-3 -> 16 [17-1]
etc

We can define any numbers comparison in the engine and its relevant range of differences allowed. This filter also operates in normal or guided mode. :)

Yet another example of the optimization power of WG.

Similarly to the previous covering we request

but we now look for 4if6. 16,6,4,6 = 25 blocks unconditionally.

16,6,4,6 = 21 FD 100% (unconditional 4if6 missing 380/8008 = 95.25%)

Other known optimizers couldn't make this in fewer than 22 blocks. However, even if they finally match the same blocks, they lack the improved unconditional coverage offered by WG. Improved unconditional coverage is translated as even if we fail to the guide filters we have defined, we still have a higher chance to capture the 4if6 in this particular example when using coverings constructed in WG! This can be seen particularly in bigger coverings such as the 16,6,5,6 = 142 demonstrated earlier, where the WG 16,6,5,6 = 142 FD 100% offers around 72%+ unconditional coverage whilst the covering produced by a well known optimizer 16,6,5,6 = 155 FD 100% offers the same unconditional coverage of around 72%+ despite the fact we have 13 more blocks!

This is an example of how the detailed hits analysis is displayed in WG1.6. I have analysed the 18,6,4,6 = 40 FD 100% posted earlier.

This analysis displays the hits produced when we have exactly m = 6 correct numbers. The results are folded (displayed as ranges) for hits 4 and below. We can get an insight of the 2,1 hits produced. This is essential to know when we play with banker numbers.

And here are some screenshots of how WG1.6 becomes.

Here we can see the former 'Common numbers" filter. We can also see the Guide checkbox which tells the engine that the filter will provide the allowed blocks for our covering. This is essential when building filtered coverings, just like those presented earlier. Here we can design any number of number groups to use.
Each such group has its own settings for guide mode and priority.

Similar logic is for the new "Distance" filter where we can define the positions of numbers within each block and the accepted ranges we want these to have.

Here we see the progress panel displaying information whilst building the 16,6,5,6 = 142 FD 100% covering. We can also see the "auto-reduce to L%" functionality on the left side. When enabling this option, the engine will automatically remove blocks from the covering to match the L% defined at the covering's parameters.

Finally, this is the detailed hits analysis window which displays the hits produced when we have m correct numbers. We can fold the results up to any desired depth.

Another filter has been added to WG 1.6, the "position" filter which defines the allowed range of numbers to fall in a particular position of a block.
Thus, given the block X1 X2 X3 ... X7 X8 etc
we can give for each X- the range of allowed numbers, e.g. we want for X1 the numbers 1- 10 only.

This filter works both as guide or normal mode, having its own settings for guide and priority for each individual position.

Good news LA! You are developping WG 1.6 faster than I could expect.

But, as you know, the more you do the most we ask for :)

I presume that there's no limit for the amount of groups; if so, do you think it's possible to "Add Group(s)" by means of a text file, I mean, to import some groups of numbers and their max and min limits, well preformatted in a text file? and of course, to save them in a text file too?

EX: File = December_Groups.gr(oups)
Group 1: Numbers (01,07,09); 1 to 2;
Group 2: Numbers (10,17,19,29,38); 2 to 3;
....
Group x: Numbers (xx,yy,zz,ww); a to b;

this is the presets feature I plan to add in WG and Maryland asked for this too. It is not only intended to work for groups but for all available systems.
