New To GAT, happy to have bought it! Have questions, though

Post by V Dogg » Wed Aug 26, 2020 2:42 am

Hello World. I just bought a one year subscription to GAT today (want to join the hidden forum) and I'm looking forward to using it. I know in the future I'd love to get more in depth into it, but for now, I'd like to run it and have it suggest lottery numbers with little input on my part. How would I do that? Also, how long does it normally take for the software to finish its predictions so I can grab some numbers and go play them? Was looking for some answers in the help file, couldn't really find much. Thanks in advance.

Hi V Dogg, literally all the forum is about to answer such questions. Start from the sticky post at the GAT Engine forum.

GAT can be as easy or as complex as you want it to be. The simplest is, let the engine run a couple of hours and pick any GAT in the middle columns of the augmentative panorama requesting X numbers you want to play. Half to 2 million scanned GATs is a sufficient target to reach.

Thanks for the answer! I just have another quick question that I can't seem to find anywhere. Do I just pick a random GAT out of 20 or so in the 3/4 hit columns, is there a way to determine the "best" one, or is there something that takes all the GATs and compiles them to give you the best numbers to wheel, assuming I ask for 15 numbers to play? If that makes any sense.

You could do that, pick randomly among those shown if you want a quick pick. Better selections can be made by following the advice of the tutorial, check for regularity of hits inspecting the red graph line to potentially make better selections. This question has been asked a lot of times, make a search for "regularity", the 100/X rule and how to use run factor. Most of the work is already done by the panorama really. All these (regularity/100/X) are just a means to try and squeeze a lit bit more. The main principle here is you keep using a particular GAT ID table picked over the next few draws.

Hello, LA, I just have two more questions for you:

1. I'm playing on paper for the first time with the GAT since I think I have everything figured out. Though for my lottery, Mega Millions USA, the 3 hit ratio percentage was only at 12% while the 4 hit ratio percentage was only at 4%. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

2. I'm using the argumentative panorama as you have suggested, but is the build up panorama more for the GAT Engine to produce results for the very next draw only as opposed to the argumentative being used for the next few draws? I think that is what I got out of it and may use the build up next time.

Hi V Dogg, to your questions
1. Mega Millions is a "big" game in terms of the possible combinations it can generate (5 drawn out of 70) therefore any hit performance will be lower compared to other more "normal" lotteries like 6/49. I can't comment on the hit percentages you get as this depends on how many numbers you want to pick from the engine but the idea here is these percentages make sense only in the augmentative mode and having a good amount of tested draws so to be able and take into account hot and cold cycles that emerge. A setting of 100 tested draws is a good compromise to use and it is the default setting for that reason. There isn't anything wrong to do here, if this is the percentage achieved, this is mostly due to the actual size of the lottery we analyze.

2. The augmentative mode is a more reliable approach and the default operation. The build-up assumes it has detected a partial signature and try to capitalize on that aspect. The problem here is if this actual signature will remain relative stable for the exact next draw; if it does the rewards will be better than using the augmentative mechanism but unfortunately there is no way to tell if the same dynamics will continue as detected over the last draws which results in showing the GAT in the buildup panorama but generally the buildup mode is more volatile. I guess you can try the buildup and see what can be delivered out of it but in terms of reliability, the augmentative is more stable to what it proposes but it rely on the Run Factor utilization.

Yeah, I see what you mean by Mega Millions (and for that matter, Powerball). They are tough nuts to crack because of the amount of numbers, but playing my GA Fantasy 5 gets me higher percentages.
