No manual or automated process would be able pick the good GAT over the other tables.
Hi, Paperino:

You can find there are 1666 posts totally in the issue of 《G.A.T. ENGINE》now and 99% posts are discussing for the same topic: “How can find some better GATs and the best GAT” in fact. Why? The reason is very simple because we do hope get some desired hits from the better GATs. Another reason comes from users’ consensus: We would be able pick the good GATs over the multiple factors following the Menu and designer’s instructions by using GAT 2.3b. Otherwise, it's not necessary to use this program and discuss the topic here. Indeed, we can find some smart strategies from these discussions.

At the same time, however we got the consensus too: The manual process of searching some better GATs is not only Difficult & Complex but Time-consuming. I think this is the main reason why many serious lotto players still keep the attitude of skeptical and hesitant to GAT 2.3b in the would.

Is it technically (algorithmically) possible to convert the process from manual to automatic?

I seem to look at a glimmer of light from the forthcoming GAT 3.0.

Best regards,
lb

Sure, it makes sense to look at the graph and perhaps more importantly, hit delay. I mean, why not.

But, consider this:

If someone did a study, picking the best looking GATs from panorama (after a thorough scan) vs random tables (same scan), do you believe the human or computer chosen "best GATs" would necessarily out-perform random selection?

I highly doubt that. Scanning for high-hitters is the most important part, further analysis is fun, but we should not overestimate its usefulness.

I'm still not sure what do you mean "vs random tables (same scan)". :?:
Could you explain your strategy of selecting random tables further by using an example?

The idea: A study comparing GATs selected by specific criteria (delay etc.) vs GATs selected without looking at anything.

I agree with a previous post that 12-14 numbers do not produce easy to read red profiles. I am now studying astrology to get a line on the best predicted numbers.

I would like to know how much credit can be given to a GAT with a lot of yellow (near misses)? Does it mean that it would likely perform better in the next draw?

I can't comment precisely on the performance of the next draw but overall "near misses" is an indication that tighter focus has been achieved and if this "near miss" spans over a few draws, it is perfectly reasonable to assume it can nail it.

When running the previous results in the Canada 6/49 draw, it can be noticed that the best GATs are either bad or mediocre, but those that got high scores are below X-30 and are not limited to the middle columns, they are even more represented in the columns 5 or even 6. The delay graph does not seem to provide distinction between the "gainers" and the "loosers". I would like to illustrate it in the next message to hear the opinions. What seems to be the trend is that one of the scenarios for getting the high mark is going down from 5 or 6 to 0, and after that, immediately back to 5. Those that achieved good result in the previous draw are very unlikely to get it repeated. I would like to see other members experience.

I am posting this to further illustrate findings after I ran the GAT engine with the results from the latest (at that time) Canadian 6/49 run. I used all standard options with 13 numbers. I am attaching the following screen shots. I would like to hear the opinions.

The first two screen shots represent overall balance comparison at the beginning of the run, with just slightly over 100000 GATs and over 10 millions. White fields represent GATs with 0 numbers correctly predicted and dark green 4 or more numbers correctly predicted. To my, and probably everyone's surprise the difference is slightly in favour of the beginning of the run (Beginning 7 whites and 9 dark; over 10 millions 9 whites and 8 dark). Note that the reds are originally light green, which means1, 2 or 3 hits. However, the difference is statistically insignificant and I would say that, based on this sample, that there does not seem to be either advantage, or disadvantage in running very high number of GATs. Here is the situation at the beginning:http://prntscr.com/kz55ij and when the number of GATs reaches 10 million http://prntscr.com/kz54b4.

Below are three examples of success; one is from the group 6, only 45th in the rank, but achieved six correct numbers; one from the group 5 with 4 correct numbers; and finally one from the group 3 with 4 correct numbers. None were in the top 5, with the one from the group 6 being only 45th in the rank. That ranking, of course changed after this draw, they all advanced upward. Here are the data. From the column 6 numbers and hits http://prntscr.com/kz5k0y, the same with respect to the statistics and time delay for the same GAT http://prntscr.com/kz5kn2. Then, the GAT from the column 5 with respect to the numbers and delays http://prntscr.com/kz5pfv, the same GAT with respect to the statistics and hits http://prntscr.com/kz5qot.

Below are two examples of failures. Both are from the column 3. Example 1 hits and statistics
http://prntscr.com/kz62cr. The same GAT with respect to numbers and delays is here http://prntscr.com/kz637i. Here is another example of failure. Hits and statistics are here http://prntscr.com/kz64du and the numbers and delays here http://prntscr.com/kz654e.

I believe that we need to develop some hints for choosing a good GAT and avoiding a bad one. Ranking, time delay, blue curve on hints slope may mean something, but may not be the only hints.

Great work, I made similar observations.

I don't think much can be done, the machine is capable, but you still need some luck.

No way around it. ;)
