Not enough history draws ?

Post by Leprechaun » Mon Mar 31, 2014 1:11 am

What is the cause of " not enough history draws " ? I have seen this topic was discused before , but I could NOT see a solution offered.
It is said that 50 history draws would be enough to start the GAT. I have input 103 history draws , and use default settings , so why will the GAT engine not work ?

The default settings of 100 tested & 20 stat.data require 140 history draws. If T=100 & S = 20, the engine needs at least T + 2*S draws to run. Adjusting these to a lower e.g. T=25 and S=10 will allow the engine to function with only 50 history draws too. 50 history draws is just a lowest minimum indication of available history to allow a meaningful run. You can even run the engine with as low as 20 history draws by adjusting T & S accordingly, however this will produce very unworthy results due to the quite lower amount of generated statistics.

Thanks for the clear answer. I have input 50 more history draws to my lotto , and sure enough , the GAT started working.
Cheers , Alex
