If it was possible to identify the best parameters, these wouldn't be user selectable. The default are fine to begin with any scan. If the user wants to adjust these in order to get better performance (hit-wise), the comparison should be done against the default.
Typical values for the tested draws are in the range 50-200, outside that range lurks the danger of insufficient statistical data generated (<50 tested draws) or averaging the hits outcome if many more tested draws are used. Practically, the default setting 100 is really the best compromise between performance and enough tested draws results to distinguish the better GATs.
Similarly, the stat.data shouldn't be quite low, best values are in the range 10-50, the default 20 is really adequate.
Now, if you want to play with these settings, feel free to do so but always compare the outcome against the default settings to judge if your adjustment offers something beneficial to the process. This has been discussed in the past too here; it is a common question among new users.
