Use Consecutive Filter

TRANSFERED FROM OLD FORUM

how can I define the consecutive filter to eliminate also any 3 consecutive numbers
from a wheel?

This filter is the "Consecutives" found in the rejection filters system. To eliminate all 3 consecutive numbers, you have to mark all values contain a 3 value to "no". A 6 ball game can have several such values e.g. 321, 33, 3111. Each one of these correspond to a certain type of draw. For example, a 321 draw is 02 03 04 18 19 33 (2,3,4 are the 3 consecutives here and also 18,19 are the other 2 consecutives). Set the above values of column "1" to "No" and this will eliminate any such draws from your ticket listing. To apply your filter, proceed to stage 3 calculations.

and what about columns 2...33?
should I do the same for them?

Columns 2-33 represent consecutives that differ by 2-33.
This can be understood by an example (6/49 game).
Suppose we have the consecutive value 3111. This means tickets that have 3 consecutive numbers and the rest is "isolated".
For column 1, such a ticket is 1 2 3 10 15 17 (1,2,3 are consecutives that differ 1)
For column 2, such a ticket is 1 10 12 14 20 28 (10,12,14 differ 2)
For column 10, such a ticket is 1 2 3 10 20 30 (10,20,30 differ 10. Here 1,2,3 are not considered consecutives for range 10).
