GAT Blue line
GAT Blue line
In GAT selection you refer to the "beginning of a hill" on the blue line. Is it a close point to the hill on upward trend or is it the turning point upwards from the bottom?

Re: GAT Blue line
There isn't any distinction here, as long as your current position is at a low and ahead you see a "hill" meaning all the values are higher than your current position, this means we expect from now on (judged by the blue line) more hits production. So, based on the overall look of the blue line - when it goes up and down - if we detect behavior similar to the one we are currently in and we are at a low hit position (low value in blue line), more hits are to be expected as we move up-hill in the blue-line.
Re: GAT Blue line
Thank you.
Re: GAT Blue line
I'm still not sure what's your mean above. How can you see a "hill" ahead since your current is at a low where is the last point in the blue line? The blue line maybe trends to up or down next.as long as your current position is at a low and ahead you see a "hill" meaning all the values are higher than your current position,
You would see a "hill" if the line goes up. You would see a "valley" if the line goes down. Could you explain your post by using a real picture in detail here?
Maybe, "when it goes up and down" should be: it goes up or down here? If not, could you explain it by using a real picture in detail? Thanks. So, based on the overall look of the blue line - when it goes up and down - if we detect behavior similar to the one we are currently in and we are at a low hit position

Re: GAT Blue line
The whole idea here is to observe the overall behavior of the blue line. What it did when it was at a low? If you are at a low, typically a "hill" is expected to show up, observing this at the blue line at similar low situations gives even more "strength" to the observation that more hits are to be expected. You are right at your first quote, indeed you cannot see the "hill", the correct wording is
"as long as your current position is at a low and you have similar observation/situation at the past draws where a low ends up to a hill at the blue line, similarly ahead of your current low position you expect to see a "hill" forming (when the actual draws come) meaning the values will be higher than your current position = more hits."
The whole idea here is GATs have cycles (hot/cold). When you are at a low it means overall the hits productions over the averaged range was low. Given we expect the cold cycle to end anytime soon, a hot cycle is to be expected = more hits. If the overall behavior of the blue line reinforces this low -> hill then by all means pick this GAT. If on the other hand you observe a long low hits production (blue line stays low for a long period) and you are currently at a low but for a short time, this isn't ideal because this GAT has shown it may stay low for a long time. Judge is always a repetitive performance to decide how your current situation will evolve. We pick the "low" side of the blue line graph because this typically means "more hits are to be expected".

Re: GAT Blue line
Hi, AT:
As you know, the blue and red line in Build-up is different from in Augmentative.
My question is how can we read and use them in Build-up for getting some good GATs.
Could you give me some smart instructions in detail by using the picture as below?
Thanks for your sincere help!!!
(The picture used to NY Take 5 and comes from the 2nd column of Build-up. The settings are 3 future draws, 5 future draws and 10 future draws one by one.)

Re: GAT Blue line
Hi lottoburg, indeed the build-up graphs will be quite different at the last part (right-side) of the tested draws. The reason is the vastly different properties we look for at the build-up mode. Below are links to all the information needed for the build-up.

The only advice I can give here is, pick a build-up GAT that has a slightly smaller length of its hit sequence compared to the GAT which produces the longest hit sequence. So if you see a GAT (typically the top-most in a column) that "builds up" its hit sequence over 10 draws, consider this as the longest hot cycle possible, which a GAT will break/collapse and stop delivering. You should pick a GAT that builds up to i.e. 8 draws its hits. Again the best GATs to pick are typically those at the middle columns, i.e. 2/3/4 hits production.
The blue-line in build-up does not follow the general advice of "low -> hill" because these GATs behave quite differently and are picked with a different quality criterion.
